Responsible Manufacturing
We're Creating Good Jobs In The USA and Responsibly Manufacturing High-Quality USA-Made Apparel
USA-Made Garment Production Value Chain
Why USA-Made?
In 1960, roughly 95% of apparel worn by Americans was made by Americans. As of 2009, this number had dropped to 2%.
US garment manufacturing has decreased by 80% in the past three decades. The global garment industry has filled the gap, and has proven rife with indentured labor, child labor, and environmental destruction.
We're bringing back jobs to the USA by responsibly manufacturing clothing.
Why Union-Made?
In the last decade, the vast majority of unionized garment factories have shutdown or stopped serving the union market.
Some non-union US garment factories have been found to pay below minimum wage with little to no benefits, and at times use imported fabric in their “USA-made” products.
Partnership with unions ensures that the garments we buy lead to thriving, sustainable livelihoods.
